    2025 Nuts and Bolts

Sponsored by Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum and MCLE Program Presented by Financial Lawyers Conference

    Hybrid

    Bankruptcy Transactional & Litigation Skills

This nuts and bolts program is designed for junior to mid-level commercial finance, litigation, corporate, and insolvency attorneys and other professionals. The program will address foundational transactional skills that will be of value for insolvency, finance, and corporate professionals, including negotiating debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing term sheets and overcoming objections to entry of interim and final DIP orders. The program will also cover key issues for insolvency and litigation professionals, including obtaining and enforcing discovery in bankruptcy cases, whether through contested matter discovery, adversary proceedings, or Rule 2004 subpoenas.  Professionals who are lawyers, financial advisors, bankers, and professionals for private lenders, hedge funds, private equity funds, investors, and companies who participate in debt transactions, will benefit from this program. To promote discussion, and to establish and cultivate contacts with other professionals in our industry, we encourage senior members of the institutions who receive this invitation to involve their junior and mid-level team members in this program.
