On October 7, 2019, join us for a special presentation by the Honorable Maureen Tighe, Chief Judge, on the state of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and what we can expect in the next year.

After Chief Judge Tighe's presentation, our panel will discuss a number of interesting issues arising in litigation with state and federal governmental entities, including competition between agencies over jurisdiction, the unitary governmental creditor theory, state and tribal sovereign immunity, and other procedural and practical lessons.
