The Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum is an organization of bankruptcy professionals dedicated to the study of the bankruptcy laws of the United States and to the improvement of the practice of bankruptcy law in the Central District of California (focusing on the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley divisions). Membership entitles you to members-only rates for our educational programs that count for MCLE credit, and our annual holiday party. You will also automatically become a member of the California Bankruptcy Forum and receive the CALIFORNIA BANKRUPTCY JOURNAL.

Deductibility of Membership Dues

Your dues to the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.  However, they may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.  Please consult with your tax professional for specific advice.

The LABF estimates that none of your membership dues represents nondeductible lobbying costs.

Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy.  Because LABF members are automatically enrolled as members of the California Bankruptcy Forum ("CBF"), we will share your name and contact information with the CBF.  The CBF makes its membership list available on its website and to interested parties.  Please see the CBF's website, www.calbf.org, for more information.  The LABF will only use your personal information to carry out transactions you have requested.
